Bill Joy, President

Bill received his Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce and Business Administration, with an emphasis in finance and real estate, from the University of Alabama in 1974. He became a designated member of the Mortgage Bankers Association of America in 1992, and keeps up with changes in the industry by frequent attendance of seminars and conferences presented by the MBA and other professional financial and real estate organizations. He has also been an instructor for the MBA.

Bill has served as a Board Member for the University Of Alabama College Of Commerce and Business Administration Alumni Association, and remains active locally through his involvement with the YMCA, Belmont Mansion and his church.

 

Chad W. HoodVice President - Commercial Loan Production

Upon relocating to Nashville from Northwest Arkansas in Fall, 2013, Chad joined MCI with a strong entrepreneurial mindset and interest in the private business sector. He brings an analytical approach to his work, and prides himself on his customer service and personal interactions.   

Chad holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the Sam M. Walton School of Business at the University of Arkansas with an emphasis in Entrepreneurship and Real Estate Finance. 

 

Pamela Parker, Loan Servicing Manager

Nashville native, Pamela brings to MCI over 15 years of commercial real estate experience, as she was instrumental in helping a local restaurant chain grow from its second location in the Nashville area to more than 100 locations across the country, where she also gained firsthand experience with commercial property selection and location research. Pamela is a licensed affiliate broker and brings with her extensive knowledge of the commercial real estate market.

 

Ernest K. (EK) Hardison, III, Loan Underwriter/Loan Production

EK graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Vanderbilt University in 1964.

EK Joined MCI in January 2020 as a producer of CRE loans and to add value to the team with over forty years of experience in the mortgage and equity commerical real estate areas with over fifteen years of long-term lender affiliation.  EK was the project manager on Intereal Company's first major investment project located in Washington D.C.  Territorial manager of the Western Region for eight years responsible for fourteen states, including Texas and California.  During his last three years with The National Life and Accident Insurance Comapny he managed a portfolio in excess of $1.5 Billion with gross income exceeding $150 Million. 

EK is an active member of the Nashville Community and civic affairs by serving in a number of volunteer positions; such as President of the Nashville Rotary Club, which is third largest in the world.  Among numerous awards that EK has received in the Community include The Celtic Cross Award by FPC for service to youth via National Association of Presbyterian Scouts and "Long Rifle Award" from Middle Tennessee Council of Boy Scouts of America.  EK is a Deacon in the First Presbyterian Church in Nashville, Tennessee. 

EK served our country as an officer in the U.S. Army.  He was an honor graduate from the U.S. Army Ordianance Guided Missile School.  While serving EK received the US Army Commendation Medal.  He was released from active duty with the rank of Captain. 

EK's Industry Affiliations include Urban Land Institute, Mortgage Bankers Association, International Council of Shopping Centers and Nashville Financial Analyst Society.  

Duncan McGinn, Loan Originator

Nashville native, Duncan moved back in 2021 after receiving his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at Auburn University majoring in Finance with a strong emphasis in Real Estate. He prides himself with a strong analytical approach to underwriting as well as his communicative skills. 

Duncan was born and raised in Nashville where he learned the commercial real estate business through his father who operates several multifamily properties across middle Tennessee. He learned his work ethic through working on these properties since he was a young man, as well as running a lawn care business from 2013 until he graduated high school. Duncan graduated from Nashville's Montgomery Bell Academy in 2017 where he helped found the Stock Market Club and was a member of the Hockey Team as well as the school's very first Trap and Skeet Team. Duncan has volunteered at Room in the Inn as well as Haddie's Home Orphanage. While at Auburn, he was a member of the Kappa Alpha Order. Duncan interned here in the summer before accepting a full time position upon graduating from Auburn.
